Day 1: Lumo Sanctuary Coast

You will be picked up from your hotel at 6:00 am at the south coast or 7:00 am at the north coast and driven to the Lumo Sanctuary. This park is relatively small and less visited but offers a very good chance of spotting lions and all other animals such as elephants, buffalo, antelopes, etc. The first game drive starts immediately after the entrance to the way to Lions Bluff Lodge. The lodge is located on a small mountain and offers a 360 ° panoramic view of the grandiose landscape and with a bit of luck, you can even see Kilimanjaro from here.

In the afternoon you go on an exciting game drive until the evening. You decide how long you want to take the break after lunch and agree the time directly with the driver.

At sunrise, before breakfast, you start the first game drive. You will return to the lodge around 8:00 am for a hearty breakfast and then check out. Now the last game drive takes you towards the exit and further along the Tanzanian border to Amboseli. Alternatively (agree directly with the driver) you can also have breakfast first and then go on a longer game drive to the exit of the Lumo reserve. On the way to Amboseli, you will pass Maasai villages and you will reach the camp for lunch. A little rest and then there is a game drive and lots of animals. The Amboseli is very small and relatively dry, so you can watch the animals very well in or on the swamp. The largest herds of elephants can be found here.
